Yishui Wangzhuang Mountain in Mount Notre Dame

Notre Dame de Yishui Wangzhuang is located in Xiawei Town, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. 1884, German priest Bubu was transferred to Wangzhuang, and in 1893 (Guangxu 19), a Gothic cathedral was built, which was named the Hall of Jesus Almighty King. East-west, magnificent, with a length of 39.10m, a width of17m, a height of 26m and a total area of 669m2, which can accommodate about 1000 people.

In 2000, under the leadership of Bishop (Linyi people), fourteen large-scale open-air reliefs were rebuilt, and on May 12 of that year, with the assistance of Father Gao Changde of Jinan, they were consecrated by Father Bu. In 2002, the parish raised more than 300,000 yuan, which was built by Qufu Ancient Building and restored the century-old Catholic Church of King Jesus. In 2005, Xiawei Town Committee raised millions for the development of red tourism, restored the ancient buildings attached to the church compound, afforested Notre Dame, built a large-scale Notre Dame square, and specially invited calligraphers to sign the Notre Dame. A winding staircase leads directly to Notre Dame de Paris.

In 2007, Father Bentangbu led his parishioners to erect statues of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and Father Frother, and set up a special altar for mass in the West Square of Notre Dame before the pilgrimage in 2008. In the spring of 2009, with the help of the village construction team, Father Bu led the educational administration team and his parishioners to raise more than RMB100,000, and repaired Notre Dame, which was almost in danger. The roof was completely replaced, the girders were reinforced, the interior walls were leveled, the floor tiles were laid, and the most important thing was to restore the 194 1 bombed bell tower. It has a 3-meter-high stainless steel cross that stands on the bell tower. The statue of the Virgin Mary has also been restored to its original position. Windows have also been replaced with rain-proof arched plastic steel windows. There are 14 embossed grass ornaments on both sides of Notre Dame Road, which makes pilgrims feel relaxed and happy and linger.

Notre Dame de Wangzhuang is surrounded by mountains and surrounded by pine and cypress, which is really a refreshing scenery. Therefore, it has also become a good place for students from art colleges in Qufu, Linyi and Rizhao to sketch. The big cherry introduced by German priests has now developed into a 10,000-acre cherry orchard. Notre Dame de Wangzhuang has a unique background, including Austria, Beijing, Jiangsu, Fujian, Hebei and other places, and many pilgrims at home and abroad come here.
