First go to the public security bureau where your household registration is located to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao pass for mainland residents. This process will take about 10-15 days.

After getting the certificate, you can apply for a visa to go to Hong Kong or Macau. Currently, Hong Kong and Macao visas cannot be processed at the same time. There are only three types of visas: Hong Kong once, Hong Kong twice and Macao once. The time for each endorsement is approximately 6 working days.
