Tourist attractions in Jin Huashan
Along the right side of the giant Buddha ditch, along the steep and quiet stone ladder mountain road, the bamboos on both sides are slender and tall, lush, and quite known as "ten thousand poles of bamboo dancing green yarn"
Opposite Nanzhuhai is the Great Buddha Hall. Although the hall is not atmospheric, it is dazzling with cigarettes. Climb the steep rock wall and you will see the Jin Huashan Giant Buddha. This giant Buddha carved from rocks, sitting on the solemn lotus platform, looks a bit like Leshan Giant Buddha. On the right side of the Buddha is the Tiangong Temple. It is said that since the Middle Tang Dynasty, the incense of Tiangong Temple has flourished.
Down the mountain from the left side of the giant Buddha ditch, the cliff next to the stream is covered with stone carvings, so the rock is named Thousand Buddha Rock. It is said that there are 57 stone carvings and 274 Buddha statues from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties. Some are lifelike, while others are eroded by ruthless years. There is a "unconstrained style" in front of the Giant Buddha, which is a masterpiece of cliff statues in China, and there are only two statues in China.
These cliff statues include Sakyamuni, Jade Emperor, Jigong Living Buddha, Taishang Laojun, Confucius, Guan Gong, Zhuge Liang and Lin Zexu. Therefore, some people say that Jin Huashan is "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in one mountain". And if you carefully observe these cliff statues, you will find that they may not all be works from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties. From the color of the statue and the traces of the cliff, we can see that some of them should be newly created by contemporary people when developing this scenic spot.
As the saying goes, "the mountain is not high, where there is a fairy, there is a spirit." Although there are no charming scenery and magnificent mountains and rivers, Jin Huashan, a small town, is still fascinating because of its steep rocks, lush bamboo and wood, heavy Mo Yan, towering Buddha statues and cool climate. ......
