When passengers enter the country, they do not need to fill in a customs declaration form if they bring cash and items with a total value of less than 1,000 US dollars. If you carry cash and items with a total value of more than 1,000 US dollars, you must fill out a customs declaration form and truthfully declare the amount of cash, gold and silver jewelry, valuables, etc. you are carrying. The customs declaration form should be properly kept after entry. When leaving the country, the declared items can be taken out with the customs declaration form. If a passenger intends to take an oil painting out of the country, he must apply for a non-cultural relic appraisal certificate in advance at the National Art Museum of Algeria and present it to customs officials along with the oil painting when leaving the country.
