Tonghai County is a county under the jurisdiction of Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the south of the central part of the province, on the lacustrine plain near the Qilu Lake, and in the east of Yuxi City, and enjoys the reputation of "a country famous for music and ceremony", "a state with a beautiful home in southern Yunnan" and "a state with a crown in the south". The county covers a total area of 721 square kilometers. Its landform consists of three types: basin, Zhongshan and river valley, which belongs to subtropical semi-humid plateau monsoon climate. There are tourist attractions such as Tonghai Confucian Temple, Sansheng Palace and Bailong Temple in its territory. The population of Tonghai County is mainly Han nationality, and ethnic minorities mainly include Yi, Hui, Mongolian and Hani. It has successively won the honorary titles of "Provincial Famous Historical and Cultural City", "National Advanced Cultural Relics County", "National Advanced Cultural County", "China Couplet Cultural County" and "Hometown of Chinese Poetry".

1. Xiushan Park:
Xiushan Park, located in the south of Tonghai County, is one of the important scenic spots in Yuxi. There are many ancient buildings and couplets on Xiushan, which reveals a strong cultural atmosphere.
2. Qutuo Pass:
Qutuo Pass, 3 kilometers north of Hexi in Tonghai County, was the seat of the Yuan Dynasty "Marshal's Mansion of Xuanwei Department in Che and other places in Yuanjiang, Lin 'an", which was the highest military and political organ established in southern Yunnan at that time. Alatiemuer, the marshal of Mongolian capital in Yuan Dynasty, once lived here.

Xiushan Ancient Architecture Complex is located in the south of Tonghai County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Xiuyun Mountain is known as "Xiujia South Yunnan". According to legend, Wang Wubo of Goumachi, the land of Han Dynasty, began to build mountains, temples and pavilions here.
Fourth, Yuanming Temple:
Yuanming Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty to Zhengnian, destroyed by soldiers in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in Guangxu period. Located in Hexi Town, 14km away from Tonghai County, it is adjacent to Jiulongchi Park in the east and Xinmeng Mongolian Town in the northwest.
V. Lishan Xianren Cave:
Lishan Xianren Cave is located beside the road from Tonghai to Jianshui, 5.5 kilometers away from Tonghai County. The cave was originally named Ancestor Cave, but it was renamed Xianren Cave after Zhang Sanfeng, a famous Taoist in Ming Dynasty, visited the cave.
