How much is the ticket for Genghis Khan Cemetery?
Genghis Khan Cemetery is located in the south of Ordos Plateau, above Gandeli Aobao in Ejinhoro Banner, Ordos City. In 1219 and 1226, Genghis Khan made two expeditions to the west. When he led his troops through this place, he was deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery here. He immediately wrote poems to praise it and chose this place as his burial place. In August 1227, Genghis Khan fell off a horse while hunting, and his body was transported here for burial. Since then, it has been called "Yijinhuoluo", which means "master's cemetery". In the middle of this quiet and harmonious grassland, it marks that Genghis Khan, a generation of tianjiao who conquered the world in the history of Chinese nation, will rest here with its unique and interconnected Mongolian yurt hall. The brave, enthusiastic and tough Darhutes in Ordos have been guarding their heroes for generations.
During the Anti-Japanese War, the Kuomintang government moved the remains of Genghis Khan to the Ta 'er Temple in Qinghai. In 1954, the government of the * * * production party moved it back to its original site. Now the building was rebuilt after liberation.
The Genghis Khan Cemetery faces south, and the hall has cornices, resplendent and magnificent. The main building, Mausoleum Palace, consists of six parts: main hall, back hall, east-west hall and east-west hall. There are large-scale color murals painted in the main hall, which vividly depict Genghis Khan's extraordinary life, social life in the Yuan Empire era and local customs at that time.
In the main hall of the Mausoleum Palace stands the statue of Genghis Khan, a famous generation of tianjiao. Precious cultural relics from Genghis Khan's era are displayed on both sides of the statue. In the back hall, there are three yurt-like coffins of Genghis Khan, his wife and his younger brother. The coffin in the East Hall is dedicated to the coffin of Tuo Lei, the fourth son of Genghis Khan, and his wife Ishi (the parents of Kublai Khan in Yuan Dynasty). The West Hall is dedicated to the military emblem of Genghis Khan, Sulide, and the gilded silver saddle of Genghis Khan. There are murals depicting Genghis Khan's lifelong exploits and the social situation, religious beliefs and living customs of the Mongols at that time on the inner walls of the halls and two corridors of the Mausoleum Palace. On the platform on the east side of the cemetery are the relics of Genghis Khan's period-wooden two-wheeled giant cars, cast iron pots, iron war wheels and so on.
Genghis Khan cemetery is densely forested, with lush grass and fragrant flowers. Visitors can put on various styles of Mongolian robes in the cemetery, ride horses and camels, and enjoy themselves in Lele cars. The hostel of cemetery administration provides convenience for tourists to eat and live. In the courtyard of the hostel, there is a luxury yurt that can accommodate more than 3 people. Visitors can hold banquets and taste Mongolian meat, milk and cakes with unique flavor. You can also enjoy Mongolian-style songs and dances in Erdos, wedding ceremonies in Erdos and horse racing banquets. You can attend a bonfire party at night to spend a rare and beautiful night of this trip.
It is 1km away from Genghis Khan's Mausoleum, and there is Genghis Khan's Orton (Palace), which was modeled after the layout of Genghis Khan's palace in 126, when he was in the Great Khan's position. People also called it "Yuan Dynasty Village". The palace consists of the Yingbin archway, the Grand Palace Gate, the Jinding tent, the left and right side exhibitions, the Khan selection platform, the shooting range and the racecourse.
In the southeast of the cemetery, there is Genghis Khan's palace, and the Mongolian-style palace and utensils in the palace are all copied from Genghis Khan's palace model. There is a unique white pagoda just south of the cemetery, where the former site of Genghis Khan Mausoleum was moved. After the relocation of Genghis Khan Mausoleum, the Mongolian people established this white pagoda here to commemorate this place.
