Attractions.

1. The Arc de Triomphe in the center of Vientiane looks like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. However, its arch base and eaves are carved and decorated by typical Lao temples, reaching the top floor and enjoying a panoramic view of Vientiane. With the help of the government of China, a musical fountain park was built around the Arc de Triomphe.

2. The Jade Buddha Temple was originally a place dedicated to the famous "Sinhalese Buddha". Now it is a religious art museum with rich collections, ranging from the gilded throne of the king to Khmer statues, high-quality wood carvings, very famous door carvings and gold, jade and crystal Buddha statues of different shapes and sizes.

Xiang Kun Temple is a very peculiar sculpture park, which contains a large number of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. The combination of these two different religions makes the park extremely mysterious.

4. Taruan Temple is the most important national monument in Laos. It is a symbol of Buddhism and the sovereign state of Laos. It is regarded as the national treasure of Laos and the worship center of Laos Buddhists and people.

Vientiane has a big green park along the Mekong River, called Mekong Park. The cool breeze by the river is refreshing.
