What is ecotourism?
The term "eco-tourism" was first put forward by Xie Bellows, special adviser of IUCN. Lascari first proposed it in 1983, which was defined by the International Ecotourism Association as a tourism activity with dual responsibilities of protecting the natural environment and maintaining the lives of local people. Two points are emphasized here: first, the object of eco-tourism is natural scenery; Second, the object of ecotourism should not be destroyed.
