Yunzhongshan in Anxi County has become the third nature reserve in our city after Niumulin in Yongchun and Daiyunshan in Dehua.

Yunzhongshan Nature Reserve, located in the northwest of Anxi County, is 8.8km long from east to west and 7.9km wide from north to south, and it is110km away from Anxi County. It is one of the sources of Jinjiang and Jiulong rivers, with superior natural conditions, dense forests and abundant wildlife resources. There are vascular plants 152 families, 496 genera and 939 species, among which 9 species, such as southern red bean shirt, spiny spiny spiny spiny spiny fern and Fokienia hodginsii, are listed as national first-class key protected plants. There are 283 species of wild vertebrates belonging to 25 orders and 69 families, including 35 species of clouded leopard, muntjac, python, pangolin and Subeiling. , is a national first-class and second-class protected animal. In addition, there are all kinds of forest vegetation, natural landscapes and human landscapes, and some places are still in a state of "being kept in an inner room and no one knows her". It is understood that the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government, the Municipal Forestry Bureau and the Anxi County Government attach great importance to the establishment of Yunzhongshan Nature Reserve, have done a lot of preparatory work for the establishment of this area, and have invited experts to conduct on-the-spot scientific investigations on Yunzhongshan for many times. At present, the area of nature reserves and protected communities in our city only accounts for 2.6% of the national land area, which is far from the provincial level of 6.0 1% and the national level of 6.4 1%. Due to the relative shortage of forest resources and fragile ecology in our city, the establishment of Yunzhongshan Nature Reserve will not only expand the nature reserve in our city and make its layout more reasonable, but also be of great significance to the development of scientific research, tourism and economy, and will also play an important role in protecting the ecosystems at the source of Jinjiang and Jiulong rivers.
