Visa application

1. Norway is a member of the Schengen Agreement.

2. Starting from May 16, 2012, the visa center authorized by the Norwegian Embassy will accept visa applications.

3. Since May 2012, the validity period of Norwegian visas has been increased by an additional 15 days, allowing visa holders to have some room for maneuver when entering and exiting the Schengen area.

4. The applicant’s travel medical insurance must cover the number of days you will stay within the Schengen area.

5. Visa applicants must pay visa processing fees and visa fees.

6. Visa processing time: 15 working days.

Application Process

1. Draw up the purpose and itinerary of your visit to Norway.

2. Log in to the official website of the Norwegian Embassy and Consulates in China and the website of the authorized visa center to browse relevant visa information.

3. Prepare the materials required for visa application.

4. Register the visa application form online, download, print, sign, and make an appointment to submit the visa application.

5. Use Visa/master card to pay online.

6. Go to the embassy/visa center to submit visa application materials, pay visa fees and visa service fees.

7. Waiting for visa processing.

8. Receive visa.

1) To apply for a family reunion visa, you need to prepare materials

⑴ Applicant login

⑵ Fill out the visa application online, Payment and appointment time for signature delivery.

⑶ Two recent passport photos.

⑷ Visa payment receipt (applicable to all applicants over 18 years old).

⑸ Original and copy of valid passport.

⑹ Applicant interview: The applicant is required to fill in a questionnaire regarding the relationship between the applicant and the inviter. In some cases, the diplomatic mission or police station will arrange an interview with the applicant or inviting person.
