Baimei Village is located in the northeast of Fuzhou, downstream of Baimei Reservoir and beside the Fujian-Baizhou Highway. There are 8 natural villages in the whole village. The permanent population is only over 450, and the number of overseas Chinese who have settled overseas reaches about 900. It is an important overseas Chinese village in Tingjiang area.
