Introduction: Yuntai Karst Cave, formerly known as Kongqiu Mountain Sage Cave, was officially renamed Yuntai Karst Cave Scenic Area in 2007 after the Jiaozuo Tourism Bureau reported it to the Henan Provincial Tourism Bureau for approval. Yuntai Karst Cave Scenic Area is located in Xicun Township, Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City. It is 11 kilometers away from the urban area and has convenient transportation. It is only 30 kilometers away from Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area and 20 kilometers away from Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area. It has been included in the overall tourism route planning of Jiaozuo City. The Jiaozuo Tourism Avenue (Jiaozuo North-Yuanrong Temple-Yuntai Cave-Qinglong Gorge-Yuntai Mountain) that is about to be completed will pass through this scenic spot. It takes 15-20 minutes to drive to the scenic spot from the city. It is currently the closest mountain-type natural scenery viewing area to Jiaozuo city. It has been proven that the main cave of the cave is about 2,300 meters long, and the branch cave is about 2,800 meters long. It is divided into three levels: upper, middle and lower. The cave runs north-south, runs up and down, is criss-crossed, and has a spiral shape with varying widths and heights. The highest point is more than 40 meters and the narrowest point is only 1.5 meters. It is currently the largest cave discovered in the Taihang Mountains. The cave was formed about 1 billion years ago and is an Ordovician limestone cave. This area belongs to a group of caves formed by river erosion in the Weihe River Basin of the Haihe River System.
