Shanghai French Concession (Shanghai French Concession
Concession) is one of the two concessions in Shanghai (the other is the Shanghai Public Concession), mainly located in Luwan, Shanghai District (already merged into Huangpu) and Xuhui District, and the narrow strip in the east extends into today's Huangpu District. The Shanghai French Concession is the earliest, largest and most prosperous of the four French Concessions in modern China. The other three are the Tianjin French Concession, the Hankou French Concession and the Guangzhou French Concession (Shamian).
It was opened in 1849, experienced slight expansion in 1900, and began to expand significantly in 1914 to establish a new legal concession. In the 1920s, it developed into the best and most high-end residential area in Shanghai. On July 30, 1943, the Wang Jingwei regime took back the most important French Concession in Shanghai and renamed it District 8. The history of the French Concession came to an end immediately, and lasted for nearly a hundred years. French Concession itinerary recommendations

Fuxing Park
Fuxing Park is one of the earliest parks opened in Shanghai. More than 80 years ago, this was fertile farmland. At that time, a family named Gu owned more than ten acres of land and built a small private garden here, which people called the "Gu Family Garden".
In 1900, the French Concession Public Administration purchased 152 acres of civilian land for 76,000 taels of silver, and leased 112 acres of it to the French army to build a barracks, the Gujiazhai Barracks.
The park was rebuilt in 1908 and opened to the public in June 1909. It was named "Gujiazhai Park", also known as "French Park". Various carnivals and concerts are often held in the park. Fuxing Park is the only garden in Shanghai that retains the French classical style. It is also a masterpiece of the integration of Chinese and Western garden cultures in modern Shanghai.
Sinan Road
Sinan Road is right after Fuxing Park. Sinan Road was built in 1914. During the third expansion of the French Concession in Shanghai, the Public Affairs Bureau built this road. It was named Massenet, Rue (Masnan Road) in memory of the famous French musician Massenet who died on August 13, 1912.
The buildings here are particularly beautiful. They are all old European architectural styles. There are also many green trees. The houses look particularly charming under the cover of green trees. It is the famous French style road, a clean and romantic one-way street with two rows of French plane trees covering the sky, connecting Huaihai Road and Xujiahui. The rich plane trees and stylish coffee shops are an escape from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai.

The ticket is 20 yuan. When you enter, you will first see a museum exhibition hall, then the living room, living room and other former residence attractions. Next to it are Zhou Mansion, Smedley's former residence and other small Western-style buildings that represent the style of Shanghai during the Republic of China. Compared with the surrounding high-rise buildings, this place represents the leisure and nostalgic style.
Sinan Mansion
Sinan Mansion is the only project in downtown Shanghai that aims to preserve and protect a large number of garden houses. It is home to 51 historic garden houses. It brings together a variety of architectural styles such as independent garden houses, connected garden houses, independent garden houses with inner courtyards, townhouses, veranda-style buildings, new lanes, garden lanes, modern apartments, etc.
, is the concentration of modern residential buildings in Shanghai.
The history of Sinan Mansion began in 1920. In this year, the first batch of garden houses were built along the Rue Lafayette (today's Fuxing Middle Road) south of the French Garden (today's Fuxing Park).
