Is it fun to introduce Chengzhai Village in Malipo?

Chengzhai Village in Malipo is the most mysterious village in China and a traditional ancient village with a long history. So far, there are a large number of high-quality intangible cultural heritage and ancient buildings. People here are simple and kind, and have lived here for generations. This is a good tourist attraction.

Chengzhai, the last mysterious village in Yunnan.

among the first batch of traditional villages in China announced in 212, Chengzhai Village, Malipo County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province is a mysterious place. Among these villages, such as Xizhou in Dali, Nuodeng in Yunlong, Wengding in Cangyuan, Heshun in Tengchong, Sideng in Jianchuan, Tuanshan in Jianshui and Manman in Jinghong Man Chun. It has a long reputation and is a representative of rural tourism in Yunnan. However, the remoteness and anonymity of the walled city made it one of the first traditional villages in China, which also made this small village more mysterious. Zhai, an ancient and mysterious village.

The distance from Zhaicheng to Malipo County is more than 13 kilometers. The mystery of Zhaicheng lies in the Bailuo people who live there. Our group drove south from Kunming, and it took us eight hours to reach this small border village. The village is surrounded by karst mountains, which are hidden by dense virgin forests. Along the mossy stone road, through a mysterious ancient village gate, and then through a stone road under the shade, you enter a mysterious village in the dense forest.

Through the towering old trees and dense forests, the dry-railing wooden buildings on the first floor and the bottom are impressive. Along the rugged stone path, drill through a natural cave gate, and then walk down a few hundred meters, which is where the villagers in Chengzhai live.

The village is full of wooden structures, with 5 or 6 pillars supporting the whole house, with one floor and one bottom, where people live upstairs and livestock are raised downstairs. Maybe it's an ancient tradition, plus careful protection. Even if the village has built a new house, it still adheres to the traditional way. Apart from plastering the ground with cement, no modern building materials can be seen any more. There are more than 15 households in Chengzhai Village, of which 142 households are traditional multi-column buildings, accounting for 94.1% of the total households. Some buildings, because of their age, have been tilted to an alarming degree as a whole, but the owners still live in them, and there is no sense of "dangerous house" at all.

from the stairs in the middle of the house to the second floor, the windows upstairs are small and dark. The house is divided into two parts: inside and outside. The house outside is mainly the living room, and the house inside is mainly for living. Every living room is made of mud, and there are fire pools all year round. It is the fire pit that makes people live, keep warm and cook. A tripod made by Subway is simply placed on the fireplace, and the cooker can be used for cooking. In the evening, put a straw mat on the ground next to the fire pit to sleep, and put away the bedding in the morning. Few people stay indoors during the day, and most of them move under the outer corridor. Standing in the corridor and looking around, the rows of dry fence buildings in the village are like a unique landscape, showing the architectural aesthetics of Bailuo people.

In fact, Gan Lan architecture is not uncommon in Yunnan where Dai and Wa nationalities live in concentrated communities. But strangely, Bailuo people belong to the Yi people, and there is no branch of the Yi people who use Ganlan architecture in the country. Moreover, compared with Yi people in other areas, Bailuo people are very different in food, clothing, housing and transportation. Complex historical origins and diverse cultural inheritance factors have put several layers of mystery on Bailuo people. The literature about Bailuo people of Yi nationality was recorded late, and it was first mentioned during the apocalypse of Ming Dynasty in Dian Zhi. The seventh volume of the "Qing Zhi Gong Tu" says, "Bailuoluo and Brick are degraded, and Yunnan and other provinces are all civilized JD.COM, living in the mountain tube or village." Where does this mysterious tribe come from? How many years have you lived in this deep forest? Nothing is written in these words. At present, there is also a Bailuo community in Guangnan County and Funing County of Yunnan Province. At present, the total number of Bailuo people in the world is only over 2,. This walled city may be the oldest surviving Bailuo village in the world.

In ancient legends, Bailuo people came from the distant Kunlun Mountain, and it is difficult to verify when they came. In the process of migration, Bailuo people were threatened by famine. Just as the grief-stricken Bailuo people were at a loss, a man found an upside-down bowl on the ground. When he opened it, he found some buckwheat seeds under the bowl. Later, in order to thank their ancestors for giving them this bowl of life-saving buckwheat seeds, Luo people celebrated the "Buckwheat Festival" on the first Dragon Day in April every year, when the buckwheat was ripe. The whole village, men, women and children, put on new clothes, carry old bronze drums, ring happy drums, and sing heartily to express their joy and yearning for a better life.

In another legend, Bailuo people used to eat people. When the old man in the family died, the whole village had to share the body. Later, when the old man died, he would kill a cow and invite the whole village to dinner.

Eat and drink, and dance the bronze drum dance happily. Over time, the bronze drum dance with lion dance as the main content has become the custom of Bailuo people's festivals. Bronzes have also become a national intangible cultural heritage.

in the walled city, there is a unique scenery. Every woman in every household, whenever she is free, picks up the sewing basket in front of the house and in the corridor, lights the melted wax with a needle, and lights flowers on the cloth. The ancient batik art is a beautiful rural painting rhyme in the sunset, which makes people intoxicated.

Bailuo people have to go through more than ten processes to make a suit, including cotton planting, cotton picking, spinning, boiling, washing and drying, coloring, re-boiling, washing and drying, drawing, ingot making, weaving on the machine, waxing and sewing garments. Every working procedure is done by hand.

It usually takes a white woman a year to make such a ready-made garment. White snail girl has been learning embroidery and needlework with her mother since she was five or six years old. The rough and free-and-easy pillar architecture tells the indifference and tenacity of white men; The exquisite and generous white dress shows the femininity and delicacy of the woman in white.

We didn't catch the Buckwheat Festival, and naturally we didn't have a chance to see the costumes and rough bronze inspiration. But it is also a harvest to walk into this walled city and see this well-preserved ancient village. Maybe in a few years, the walled city will also be occupied by tourists, and the walled city will no longer be full of mystery. Fortunately, this truly ancient village survived and was not assimilated in the wave of new rural construction. Also lucky!
