Compared with the previous generation OSMO POCKET, POCKET2 has little change in appearance, almost the same size and weight, and can be used as easily as the previous generation even without buying an all-around suit.

Although the size is similar, the core components of POCKET2, that is, the photosensitive element and lens, have been strengthened in an epic level this time. Although 20mm is already a super wide-angle focal length, some people still think it is not wide enough, so DJI specially provided a magnetic additional mirror in the all-around suit this time. This standard version of POCKET2 provides a tripod adapter, which is a slightly thicker accessory in the figure, which allows POCKET2 to be quickly installed on a tripod for use. If in a noisy environment, DJI also provides a wireless microphone, which can be easily clipped to your clothes to receive radio signals. The viewing angle is not wide enough, and the face is too big when taking a selfie. If a booster lens is installed, the image quality will be greatly reduced; 2. autofocus is not reliable, and sometimes the face is still empty after talking for a long time; 3. The fuselage radio effect is not good, and the external radio is troublesome to carry; 4. metering is not accurate, and sometimes the face is not exposed enough. However, after testing, I feel that this POCKET2 basically solves all the pain points mentioned by users.

The first is the perspective. As mentioned above, the F 1.8 equivalent to 20mm is used this time. This specification makes the proportion of human face in the whole picture much smaller when shooting, and it has obviously improved the convenience and impression of use. At the same time, it can achieve 4K 60P 2 zoom and 4X zoom in full HD, which also makes up for the problem that the focal length of 20mm is too wide. The effect of radio may be difficult to present in the form of pictures and words. POCKET2 uses a 4-array microphone design this time, and it only needs to rely on the microphone that comes with the fuselage to have excellent radio reception effect. However, the 64-megapixel sensor currently used in the mobile phone industry is not inferior to the 1 inch product in picture performance because of the number of pixels, and the product technology is also more advanced.

Finally, I want to talk about the price. First of all, the standard price is 2499 yuan, which is flush with the previous generation. So many hardware upgrades are still increased without increasing the price, which is really conscience. At the same time, for some non-digital enthusiasts, this price is just to record their daily life, so it is completely enough. The price of the all-around suit is 3499, and the price of a set of high-quality wireless microphones with one pull is actually 1000 yuan, not to mention the all-around handle to increase the feel, the magnifying glass to increase the shooting angle, and the smallest tripod that can be bought on the market at present. The most important thing is that after buying the all-around suit, it seems that there are no other accessories to buy, and it really achieves "one step in place".
