Wanzhou Island is located in the middle reaches of Xiangjiang River in Wangshiwan Township (now renamed Longchuan Town) in the south of Zhuzhou County. The total area of the island is 1.4 km2, and the island is about 4 km long and 1 km wide. It looks like a carp. Wanzhou Island was originally named "Night Island". Du Fu, a poet sage in the Tang Dynasty, once stopped here to write a poem "The Second Night Island".

At 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, we drove two cars (another car was postponed to 4 o'clock because of something), brought the materials needed for picnic and camping, tents, stoves, oil and salt seasonings, vegetables and fruits, snacks, wine, tables and chairs, pots and pans, buckets, knives ... and then set off.

? Starting from Liling No.1 Middle School, it takes about two hours to reach Xixiang via Zhaoling, Gantian, Zhu Ting and Longquan Town, and the journey is nearly100km. It arrived at a ferry pier near Xiangjiang River, just as the ferry came slowly from the other side. The ferry terminal is managed by the maritime department of Zhuzhou County Transportation Bureau, and the ferry can carry two cars across the river at a time.

We carefully put the car on the ferry. This is my first time driving a ferry. Standing on the boat, I muttered to myself. I ran on land by car and rode in the middle of the river. Very comfortable.

? Xiangjiang River flows from north to south. The river is not as wide as I thought, but the clarity, green and cleanliness of the river surprised me and immediately made me feel good about it.

? After landing, we drove to a school next to the village Committee as planned. This is a primary school. From a rusty metal plaque, we know that this school is called "Wang100,000 Wanzhou School in Zhuzhou County".

This is an old school with a teaching history of 80 years, but it finally failed to continue in the past two years, because young people are developing outside and children have left here, so the school will close without students.

The school is located in the center of Wanzhou Island. Although the school has closed, there are all kinds of water and electricity in the school. Choosing this place for picnic and camping really suits us.

As soon as the bus stops, everyone can't wait to see the rural scenery. Standing on the neat country road, they looked around. Splendid houses are scattered in the sea of rape blossoms in the fields, and the bright, delicate and golden rape blossoms and the local flavor in the fields are coming.

It happened that many villagers were harvesting dried radishes by the roadside, and our teammates all jumped into the field happily, greeted the villagers' eldest sister-in-law and joined the harvesting team directly.

These dried radishes are vegetables produced by a local agricultural science and technology company, and all of them are sold to other places. After tasting it, everyone thinks that the dried radish here is fragrant, crisp and sweet, and tastes good, which is much more delicious than the dried radish on the market. So everyone bought a lot from one bag to another and took it home.

Everyone picked up dried radish from the trellis, tasted the taste of dried radish, learned about the processing process of dried radish, and never forgot to take some beautiful photos of being a "village girl". It's really interesting. Everyone is addicted to dressing up as a "village girl" and working in the fields.

? Then, everyone happily ran to the path around the island along the river to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Xiangjiang River and explore the pastoral scenery on the island. Standing on the bank, the Xiangjiang River flows under your feet, watching the blue waves of the river rippling with the sky, and the green hills on the other side are reflected in the water, forming a beautiful landscape painting. Sometimes a big ship goes down the river, loaded with minerals, and the logo of Jingzhou Port in Hubei Province is printed on the hull. It seems that Xiangjiang River can reach Kyushu by water.

One side is the rippling Xiangjiang River water, and the other side is a field full of golden rape flowers, which constitutes a beautiful picture. At this moment, I feel really happy. Everyone sometimes throws his own figure into the Xiangjiang River and blends with the river water, sometimes turns into a butterfly dancing with rape flowers, sometimes comes down to chase and play in the sea of flowers like a flower fairy, and sometimes shuttles through the flowers like a bee, enjoying the sweetness of the flowers, and even blends his good mood and beautiful face with the sea of flowers, which makes people beautiful.

There is a Millennium camphor tree by the river. According to legend, Du Fu moored his boat on this camphor tree that year, hence the name "Anchor Gui Xiang". Cinnamomum camphora is vigorous and tall, with lush foliage and thick trunk, and few people can surround it. It is said that several children burned cow dung in the tree hole, lit a fire and burned the tree for three days and three nights, leaving a big dead tree hole.

? Take a walk along the path by the river and stop to have a look. Unconsciously, it's almost dusk. We hurried back to the camp, and while it was still dark, we worked together, pitched tents and cooked. Set up the stove, find water, wash and cut vegetables, prepare tables, chairs and chopsticks, and have fun together. Soon a sumptuous dinner was ready, 1 1 individuals sat around and stood in a circle. Everyone raised a glass to celebrate that we could spend a wonderful day camping on such a beautiful island in the middle reaches of Xiangjiang River. Under the influence of such a unique dinner atmosphere, everyone raised glasses and drank, and sometimes sang loudly, attracting many local villagers to watch in this strange place. The villagers praised us very kindly and enthusiastically as a group of happy people who know and love life.

In this charming Dao Jiang, in the faint moonlight, we drank glass after glass of wine, sang song after song and played jokes again and again. How comfortable and happy we are with the fragrance of flowers brought by the spring breeze!

The next morning, before dawn, everyone got up early. Stretch your tired body, wash your face in a hurry, and rush to the river to watch the sunrise. As soon as I set foot on the river bank, I saw a red sun bursting out from the east, setting off the eastern sky and the fields on both sides of the Xiangjiang River. A round of red and big red sunshine is sparkling on the quiet river. A red sun in the sky and a sun in the water complement each other. What a magnificent view. We were shocked by the beautiful scenery, cheered excitedly, embraced the sunshine with open arms and enjoyed this wonderful moment.

We visited the island and saw another pier in the center of the island. This is the east of the island. The river is wide, but the current is not as fast as that in the west. Look at the sign, we know that this section of the river is called Jiahe. Across the river is Wangshiwan Township, Zhuzhou County. Villagers on the island take a ferry from here to Zhu Ting market. We saw many people taking ferries to the island for leisure travel.

The island's zhoutou is full of dense and tidy pine forests. The villagers said that these trees were planted after returning farmland to forests, and now they have grown into towering trees, forming a unique landscape. In this forest, on the grassy grass, beautiful women are singing and dancing to their heart's content, and their skirts are fluttering and chic, showing their most beautiful image to the extreme. Our beautiful women all gave a good show, broke out their happiest feelings and left a beautiful figure and laughter.

While watching the scenery, we learned about Wanzhou Island from the local villagers. Wanzhou Island is a natural administrative village with 7 villagers' groups, 1000 mu of cultivated land. There are more than 65,438+0,400 villagers in the village, but now only more than 300 people live on the island permanently. Basically, they are middle-aged and elderly people, and we have never seen children. At present, he is mainly engaged in ecological agriculture and tourism. There are many homestays on the island, and the business is still very prosperous during the tourist season. It is said that the dragon boat race here is very lively every year. People from all over the country come here to watch the dragon boat race. We saw several dragon boats parked in the primary school in the campsite. It seems that Longchuan Town got its name from this, right? We don't know.

The villagers here are honest and hospitable. When we walk on the island, the villagers will greet us and show us the way. I hope I can publicize the island and come and walk more. Here, I want to thank a pair of handsome guys and beautiful women next to the camp. They warmly invited us to his home and provided us with domestic water, laundry and shower for free.

At noon, I cooked a pot of rice in the villagers' house, bought a native chicken, picked a variety of wild vegetables on the island, and made a unique picnic, which was rarely eaten in restaurants.

At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, we packed our bags and cleaned up the picnic area, leaving no garbage. With two wonderful days spent in Wanzhou Island, we reluctantly left Wanzhou Island and embarked on the road home.
