There is no doubt that this is a golden sentence, which can better understand what the author needs to express, but then again, the imaginative expression of the author is a bit dizzy and even confusing. For example, "one stitch in time saves nine stitches in the future. Today they sewed a thousand stitches just to save nine stitches tomorrow." Limited knowledge, I really don't know what it means. Then, for example, the author said that no matter how busy people are, when they hear the bell of the bell tower ring like a fire alarm, they will put down what they are doing and come and watch with interest. I'm a little confused about these words from Walden Lake.

Later, I didn't know how to move my mind, so I bought this book online. Maybe it was mentioned in other books I read, or when I was listening to Fan Deng's book. I was a little curious at that time and was recommended by so many people. It should be a good book!

So far, the book has been swallowed, and it is considered as finished. Later, I read chapter after chapter. Oh, by the way, I mentioned Thoreau and his Walden when I was reading Philosophy of Life. Thoreau was a cynic, you know Stoicism.

Thoreau lived alone by Walden Lake for two years and two months. This book is what he experienced, saw, heard, felt, thought and understood during this period, expressing his physical and mental feelings. In fashionable terms, it is his three views. He advocates a simple life, and people can survive by earning enough calories. Next, they should devote a lot of time and energy to the pursuit of spiritual world. However, in the real world, people tailor-made a pair of gold handcuffs anklets for themselves in order to get endless repetition. We were born as human beings, but we didn't do more for others. Instead, we wasted our precious lives on the pursuit of human beings.

People are often bound by their own and external materials, and it is easy to become slaves of materials all their lives without knowing it.

What is even more frightening is that people will not only be bound by material things, but also by thoughts. We will either be slaves to "worrying about the sky", or slaves to "resignation", or "experimental mice" in this world.

"What is the true meaning of life? Why do people live? When we try to give an exact answer with the question and answer, it seems to be true: people choose this usual lifestyle because it is more satisfying than other ways. They always sincerely believe that there is no other choice. " Being a slave to an idea is so terrible, just like a fanatical religious person, he can put a moth to the fire and become a victim of this idea.

What the author thinks is the ideal life of human beings, he describes it as follows: "After he gets these necessities, he will ask for something else instead of just guarding these useless wastes-his holiday to get rid of the mediocre life has begun, and now he wants to explore and experience life." Yes, shouldn't we get rid of this mediocre life?

As Thoreau said: I want to get rid of the mediocre life, I want to explore, I want to experience a life I have never experienced before, I want to study in thousands of books, I want to travel alone, I want to try my best to see more and walk in so many magical places on earth, not just skim through the flowers, but immerse myself alone, and then record this experience with sincere words and advocate a kind of "reading thousands of books"
