Tourism in Xinzhou District

The Old Street Flower Festival originated during the Chunxi period of the Southern Song Dynasty. It is held on the Old Street River Beach from February 15th to 18th every year. It has a history of more than 800 years.

Every year in the early morning of the morning, people eat Yuanxiao. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, farmers from neighboring Huanggang counties such as Daqi Mountain, Quanhua Mountain, Jiamiao Township, Dupi Township, Tieye and other places also come here to visit. Come for a meeting, and bring some bamboo and wooden utensils for sale when you come. People from Wuhan, Huangpi and Susong and Taihu in Anhui Province also came after hearing about the flood, and they brought bronze and iron wares with them. During the Republic of China, silks and satins from Jiangsu, Hunan embroidery from Hunan, fungus and mushrooms from Anhui and Henan all came to the old street for the meeting, making the entire Huachao Fair full of material exchange. The session period was also changed from one day on February 15th to three days from February 14th to 16th as needed. Due to the addition of new contents such as material exchanges and mass cultural activities, the Old Street Flower Festival has attracted tourists and businessmen from all over the world with its new charm. During the temple fair, there are many tourists and businessmen. There is a dazzling array of mountain goods and local products, and the venue of the meeting has been changed from inside and outside the temple to an open river beach. Xinzhou District will focus on building Xinzhou into a well-known flower viewing and leisure area with the theme of Wuhan Eastern Ecological New District, and strive to receive more than 3 million flower viewing tourists per year.

Xinzhou District holds two major flower viewing festivals, namely the Old Street Flower Festival and the Cangbu Osmanthus Festival.

Xinzhou District will focus on building four flower viewing routes. Middle line: Hanshi Highway (junction of Xinzhou and Huangpi) - Xinshi Highway - Xindao Highway, building a main axis landscape flower viewing belt. On both sides of the main axis, Yangluo and Wangji are dominated by lotus flowers, Zhucheng is dominated by pear flowers, and along the Xindao Highway, Old Street is dominated by rapeseed flowers.

North line: Yangluo Development Zone goes north along Yangfu Line - Cangbu Street Huaguoshan Osmanthus "Ten Kilometer Corridor" Scenic Area - Liji Zhangdian Peach Blossom and Lotus Scenic Area.

Eastern route: From the main urban area of ??Zhu City - Old Street Flower Festival and ten thousand acres of rapeseed flowers - Old Street Huanglin Camellia Scenic Area - Daoguan River Scenic Tourist Area - Jiangjun Mountain and In the Red Maple Forest Scenic Area, an east-line flower-viewing and leisure zone is constructed, also known as the red tourist channel flower-viewing and leisure zone.

Southern Line: Wuhan Outer Ring Highway (Yangluo South Interchange) - Yangda Highway - Diyuan Country Club Lotus First Scenic Area - Zhangdu Lake Wetland Park and Lotus Second Scenic Area (including forest Fish, duck and bird three-dimensional viewing area).

Xinzhou will build eight flower-viewing scenic spots. There are 50,000 acres of sweet-scented osmanthus scenic spot on Cangbu Street; 10,000 acres of peach blossom and 10,000 acres of lotus comprehensive scenic spots on Liji Street; 5,000 acres of pear blossom scenic spots on Zhucheng Street; 10,000 acres of rape blossom sea scenic spot on Old Street; and 10,000 acres of camellia oleifera scenic spots along the red tourist corridor; Daoguan River, Xugu Red Maple Forest and Rhododendron Scenic Area; 30,000 acres of Lotus Scenic Area in Zhangdu Lake area; 5,000 acres of Honeysuckle Scenic Area on Sandian Street.
