Nierji Water Control Project is located on the main stream of Nenjiang River at the junction of Heilongjiang Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The right bank of the dam site is nierji town, Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the left bank is Erkeqian Township, nehe city City, Heilongjiang Province. The highway mileage is about 189Km away from the industrial town of Qiqihar. Nenjiang River originates from Ilhuli Mountain in Daxing 'anling, flows through Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia and Jilin provinces (autonomous regions) from north to south, and flows into Songhua River at Sancha River in Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province, with a total length of 1.370km and a drainage area of 297,000 Km2. Nierji Water Control Project is a large-scale water conservancy project approved by the National Tenth Five-Year Plan. It has comprehensive benefits such as flood control, industrial and agricultural water supply, power generation, shipping, environmental protection, fish culture and reed cultivation. It is a controlling project for the development and utilization of water resources in Nenjiang River Basin and an important water source project to realize the "South-to-North Water Transfer Project".

The total storage capacity of Nierji Water Control Project Reservoir is 8.665438 billion cubic meters, including 2.368 billion cubic meters for flood control and 5.968 billion cubic meters for Li Xing, with a total installed capacity of 250,000 kilowatts and an average annual power generation of 638.7 million kWh.

After the completion of the project, the flood control standard of Qiqihar can be improved from once every 50 years to once every 100 years, from once every 20 years to once every 50 years in the reach from the hub to Qiqihar, and from once every 35 years to once every 50 years in the reach below Qiqihar.

In the design level year, the reservoir provides 65.438+0.29 billion m3 of industrial and domestic water for downstream cities, which can meet the water demand of important cities such as Qiqihar, Daqing and Harbin. The water supply for agricultural irrigation is 654.38+646 million m3,

Can make the downstream irrigation area develop to 4.54 million mu; Shipping water supply is 820 million m3, environmental water supply is 475 million m3, and wetland water supply is 328 million m3, improving downstream shipping conditions and ecological environment. At the same time, it can increase the peak-shaving ability of Heilongjiang power grid and alleviate the problems of insufficient peak-shaving ability and serious imbalance in the proportion of hydropower and thermal power.
