Day 1: Landing on Koh Chang

In fact, because Shima Island does not have its own beach, there are still relatively few tourists here and their stay is relatively short. So the environment here is much cleaner than that of Koh Chang. It's also nice to sit quietly on the beach and enjoy the breeze alone.

About traffic

1. By plane

If you take a plane, you can fly from Bangkok to Darat, which takes about an hour, then take a taxi to the pier and take a boat there. island. But flying is not that cost-effective. First, the waiting time and flight time at the airport are not much saved, and the fare is not very affordable.

2. Take the bus.

There are several ways to get there by bus. One is to go up Khao San Road, one is to get on the bus at Suvarnabhumi Airport, and the other is to buy a ticket at Ekamai Passenger Terminal in Bangkok, which takes about 6 hours.
