What type of attractions does Fengluanmi Anti-Japanese United Government Site belong to?

Fengluanmi Anti-Japanese United Government Site is a famous tourist destination for archaeological remains in Beijing.

The site of the Fengluanmi Anti-Japanese United Government is located on the top of Huanghuading in the north of Niubenyu Village, Quejiashan Township, Miyun County, with an altitude of more than 900 meters. The place name is Stinking Waterhole. This is a small basin in the mountains. There is a puddle in the middle, commonly known as a stinky puddle. However, the water does not stink and is drinkable. During the Anti-Japanese War, the mountainous area west of Baihe in Miyun County was the Pingbei Fengluanmi Anti-Japanese Base Area. The office of Fengluanmi United Government is temporarily located in Xiushuikeng. On April 8, 1942, the Japanese army surrounded Shishui Keng. More than 30 people including Lianhe County Magistrate Shen Shuang died, and 45 people were arrested. In May 1944, the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians in the Fengluan Close Base Area erected a monument in the smelly water hole. The site has always been a patriotism teaching base, educating people not to forget the national humiliation and inspiring people to strive for China's strength.
