Helpless! Why can’t we travel in domestic county towns without laser lights? Is it development or pollution?
————Lazy Rabbit’s 51st Travel Note————
Laser lights are something that is probably going to be played in China. broken.
Let alone the highway, you can often see laser lights piercing the sky. However, laser lights on highways are a must. Lazy Rabbit only knows this after experiencing it many times.
It is very necessary to set up laser lights. Because laser lights have saved many lives!
Set the laser light on a road section that is relatively straight and prone to fatigue driving, and adjust the laser light to a certain brightness. While ensuring brightness, it also has a certain impact on vision. Stimulation by changes in light can improve the driver's visual fatigue while driving.
However, after all, laser lights are only a measure to prevent fatigue for high-speed traffic police, and it is impossible to completely avoid accidents. Everyone still needs to ensure adequate rest.
But having said that, compared with the indispensable laser lights on the highway, the development trend of the county is that there is a competition between laser lights.
I went to Mengzhou City in Jiaozuo, Henan Province some time ago. Although it is a city, it is also a county-level city.
What the locals are particularly proud of is the large-scale light and water show at Jixiang Lake Park at night. Holographic lasers, singing and dancing projections, and sometimes enchanting huge water curtains, accompanied by fire-breathing devices.
It attracts countless citizens and tourists. Even if it is not a holiday, it is difficult to find parking spaces on both sides of the street and there are huge crowds of people around the park.
It is no exaggeration. The laser light show in this county-level city is the best I have ever seen (among counties and cities)! To be honest, the overall scale of the show surpasses the nighttime volcano show in Las Vegas.
The key is that there are no tickets, it’s free! Much better than many attractions.
It is understood that the investment for the night view show in Jixiang Lake Park is as high as 15 million yuan. And it is said that the entire city of Mengzhou City has invested hundreds of millions of yuan in lighting renovation (it seems to be 500 million, I can’t remember the exact number).
At that time, I felt that the development (scenery) of the county today is really beyond imagination.
When I came back to my hometown (Jiangxian County, Shanxi Province) these days, I heard that Xigou, which I used to play in when I was a child, has now become an ecological park. The night view is particularly beautiful, so I went with my parents for a walk.
Although it is not completely completed, it is beginning to take shape.
How can I put it this way? It’s hard to believe that this is the wild ditch I used to play in when I was a child. Nowadays, the small lake has been surrounded by a fence and decorated with colorful lights. From a distance, it looks like entering a cave.
A bunch of lasers printed various words and patterns on the mountain wall, including "Jiangxian County Welcomes You". To be honest, as a Jiangxian native, I am happy that outsiders can feel the warmth of my hometown. It also shows off the strength of his hometown.
And along the walls, there are reliefs about local history and culture, such as Jinwen Cemetery. It was only after reading here that I realized that many idioms originated from my hometown, such as false roads cutting off Guo, lips dying and teeth cold.
But personally, I am actually unhappy. Such a colorful light show has nothing to do with an "ecological park". Of course, this is obviously my personal opinion, so folks, please don’t criticize me.
After all, countless folks are attracted by these lights and happily take photos. In a small county town with not much nightlife, this can be regarded as a place for ordinary people to take a stroll after dinner.
It’s just that the development of the county seems to be repeating the same path.
Try every means to make yourself more urban than the city. High-rise buildings have gone up and laser light shows have been arranged, but at the same time, the environmental problems they bring are also thought-provoking and heartbreaking.
When I was young, my favorite thing every night was to stand upstairs and count the stars in the sky with my mother and sister. At that time, I really lay down and watched the stars adorn the night sky!
Now, it is a great joy to find three or five stars.
I think of the "Leng Gacuo Incident" some time ago.
As one of the few Milky Way photography resorts in China, in order to make more money, the villagers of Lenggacuo, a stargazing resort in western Sichuan, built environmentally damaging swings and rows of stargazing resorts close to the lake. B&Bs that create light pollution.
Many people probably don’t know Leng Gacuo. Simply put, Lenggacuo is a great place for photographers to shoot the stars. Located in western Sichuan, there is a pristine lake at a high altitude, facing Gongga Mountain, with magnificent sunsets and the Milky Way.
Initially, after being discovered by photography enthusiasts, outdoor enthusiasts brought their own tents, ate and slept in the open air, and stayed at the most beautiful scenery.
Later, it became more and more famous, and its fame became a tourist attraction. Everyone wanted to take advantage of this resource to get a piece of the pie.
I know many people will say, especially those from home, that these are completely different things.
Indeed, the night view laser in Jiangxian Ecological Park and the Lenggacuo incident in western Sichuan are not issues of the same level. One is the tourism industry's eagerness for quick success, and the other is the usual means of county development. But in my opinion, the light pollution caused by the two to the ecology is the same.
Xigou was originally a pure natural environment.
When I was a kid, I would go and play during the holidays. My mother took my sister and me to catch butterflies, and my classmates and I went there to touch river clams. When I was a child, I planted a willow tree. The sapling was as thin as my little finger and grew as wide as the mouth of a bowl. That little sapling was given to me by an uncle when I was playing in Xigou.
I am happy that Xigou is now an ecological park. The idiom stories and historical allusions on the reliefs also allow locals and outsiders to understand the heritage of Jiangxian County, which is worthy of being called "the best county in the world".
However, the laser light show at night also made me helpless.
Does laser bring about the development of tourism or the light pollution of the environment?
