Which one is more fun, Switzerland or Norway?

Switzerland and Norway are both well-known countries in Northern Europe. They have very high social welfare and high income. They are also traditional super-developed countries. The natural environment is very beautiful and amazing. So these two countries Which one is more suitable for traveling?

Let me answer this question briefly, but I can only answer half of the question, because I have only been to Switzerland and not to Norway. However, for me, Switzerland is a place that I can go to n times, although I encountered thieves twice there and the loss was considerable.

First, let me briefly introduce my itinerary. I visited Switzerland in September 2016. Switzerland is full of scenery. The mountains, lakes and meadows are like a pearl embedded in the Western European road.

The general route I took last time was starting from Zurich (1 day), going to Lucerne (Lucerne) for 2 days, taking the Golden Train to Interlaken for 2 days, passing through Bern, and then to Lausanne. 1 day, 1 day to Geneva.

In Zurich, I got up very early in the morning (8 o'clock), and then I found that the streets were empty and the sun did not rise. Finally, I found that the sun does not fully rise until around 10 o'clock. Therefore, there are not many good photos of Lake Zurich and Bahnhofstrasse. There is a "Yang Guo and Big Statue" statue by the lake. You can look for it.

The airport in Zurich is very big and the hotels are very expensive. The three-star hotels are not as good as the Hanting Hotel in China. If you want to live better, pay attention to your wallet. Who makes Zurich the world's financial center and the seat of FIFA? . Fortunately, this is just our transit point from Greece to Switzerland.

Depart from Zurich and take the train to Lucerne.

I have to admit that Switzerland’s public transportation is too developed. We bought a four-day Swiss Pass, which allows unlimited round-trip travel on trains, buses, and ships within 4 days (of course, some still require money), as well as free visits to some attractions, such as Mount Rigi, which I will talk about next.

Lucerne is one of the important cities in Switzerland that cannot be missed. Various tourism resources are too rich and layered. It is a typical medieval city. I won’t go into details about the churches in the city. There are various cathedrals in various cities in Switzerland. After seeing them, I became tired of them.

The Musege City Wall is a special feature, and it is also a feature throughout Europe, but the wall is too long, and just climbing a section is enough. The most distinctive feature in the old town is undoubtedly the Chapel Bridge. There are artistic paintings on the bridge that you can appreciate carefully.

The stone lion monument in the city, if you just watch the star movie, you can’t tell the reason; only when you get to the scene, the sadness in the lion’s eyes is a symbol of the Swiss spirit.

Take a boat from Lucerne to the small town of Weiznau. From here, take a small train up the mountain (a century-old minivan) to the top of the Rigi Mountains. Looking around, along the Alps, you can see Go to the Black Forest of Germany in the north, the plains of France, the lakes and mountains, and have a panoramic view. Mount St. Regis and Mount Emei are sister mountains.

If you buy a Swiss Pass, you must come here. It is completely free, except for some plateau reflections. After descending Mount Rigi, you can walk to the flower town of Weggis. It is highly recommended to walk down Mount Rigi. The beautiful scenery in the mountain is not to be missed. Just pay attention to the time of the boat.

After returning to Lucerne, take the Golden Train to Interlaken. This section can be said to be the most beautiful place in Switzerland. If you see something you like, just jump off and have fun before going up and down. One bus away.

In view of the fact that everyone has written too many travel notes around Interlaken, including the small town of Spiez, I won’t say much here. I just found that many group tours and even independent tours do not go to Lucerne, which is a shame. In Geneva, in addition to the Grand Fountain, the United Nations Headquarters and other places, you can visit the Old Town and you will be surprised.

In addition, Switzerland is a place with high consumption. Even local people often go to the surrounding supermarkets in France, Germany, and Italy to buy food on weekends. This is a kind reminder to be careful of thieves.

Many people in Italy, Greece, and France will keep a close eye on their bags. When they arrive in Switzerland, the richest place in the world, it is easy to let down their guard. At this time, thieves from all over Europe start to take action. The best opportunity, especially at the train station, must be remembered.

If you consider Switzerland as a tourist destination, it is highly recommended to travel in depth. Most groups use Switzerland as a transit point between France and Italy, and most of them go up to the Jungfraujoch at Interlaken. Jungfraujoch is indeed the pearl, but Switzerland is the entire crown.
