Lvcongpo Ski Resort is located in Lvcongpo Town, Badong County, the roof of western Hubei at an altitude of 1,8 meters. Expressway: Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway and Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway have high-speed exits in Badong, and it only takes one hour's drive to reach the snow field after getting off the expressway; National Highway 29 and Baye Highway run through the town, and Baye Highway turns to S231 Provincial Highway to get to the snow field directly. If you drive from Yichang, it takes about 2.5 hours to reach the Lvcongpo Ski Resort.

Precautions for self-driving

Self-driving tourists basically take the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, get off at Yesanguan Interchange, and then take Baye Highway to the ski resort. In general, the S245 provincial highway with shorter distance is recommended by default for navigation, but this road is too narrow to walk. It is suggested to take Baye Highway with fewer bends, and the road conditions are also escorted by the government in the snow season, which is actually faster and safer than taking the provincial highway.

Be sure to check the weather forecast before going out. If it rains and snows in Lvcongpo town, be sure to bring a snow chain, otherwise the road will freeze and the journey will be more dangerous.

You can also go up the mountain without driving. There is a customized bus from Badong Railway Station to Lvcongpo Ski Resort. You can stop at Badong Railway Station and take the ski resort bus directly. The price is not expensive either. It is about 5 yuan for a single person, and the price may increase slightly during the Spring Festival.

Non-self-driving strategy

Non-self-driving travel is actually more convenient, shorter and faster than self-driving.
