Guangzhou peasant movement workshop former site
The former site of Guangzhou Peasant Movement Workshop is located at No.42 Zhongshan 4th Road, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. In July, 1924, Guangzhou Peasant Movement Workshop was established. * * * held six sessions, the first and second sessions were held in Huizhou Club, Yuexiu South Road, and the third, fourth and fifth sessions were held at Gaodong Avenue 1. In March, 1926, the sixth phase was moved to Zhongshan 4th Road, Gong Xue, Panyu. Many revolutionary ancestors taught various courses about the peasant movement, which cultivated a number of important backbones for China's revolutionary life. Later, many important agricultural cadres studied there. The former site of the workshop was originally a Confucius Temple built in Ming Dynasty, which was occupied by Gong Xue in Panyu in Qing Dynasty. The former site, facing south, is a group of ancient buildings with brick and wood structure, including Dachengmen, Lingxingmen, Dacheng Hall, Shen Chong Temple, East Wing, East Wing and East Wing. 1953, the former site of the peasant movement workshop was restored as it was. At present, there are Comrade Mao Zedong's office, academic affairs department, military training department, general affairs department, reading room, classroom, student dormitory and canteen.
