Tourist resources in Chihe Town

The Daishan Reservoir in Chihe Town is the second largest reservoir in our county, with a total storage capacity of 34 million cubic meters and a water surface area of ??7,600 acres. Surrounded by green mountains on all sides, the mountains and rivers blend together, and the water flows with the mountains, creating a unique cave. The bottom of the reservoir is sandy, and the water is clear. The hillsides on all sides slowly spread into the water, with slopes of less than 15 degrees, forming a natural beach. The water surface can be wide or narrow, and there are bays and harbors beside the reservoir. It forms a self-contained system and is an ideal environment for developing various water projects.

Daishan Reservoir is famous for its unique scenery of lakes and mountains. "The mountains are not high but there are many mountains, the water is not deep but there are various phenomena" outlines the beautiful scenery of Daishan Reservoir. There is an island in the reservoir in the northeast corner of Daishan Reservoir, which is about One hundred acres, with flat terrain and green water on all sides, is available for development. To the east of Daishan Reservoir, there stands the saddle-shaped indigo peak. This is Daishan Mountain. There is a poem that goes, "Daishan Mountain falls on the flat earth and in the sky, and the flowing rice flowers blow through the clouds and smoke." The main peak of Daishan Mountain is 347.6 meters, which is the highest peak in Dingyuan. The original Daishan Nainai Temple at the foot of Shandong Province now only has the grotto behind the temple, the spring well in front of the temple and the temple foundation. There is still half a stone Buddha, which seems to tell the scene of the heyday of incense. There is a natural cave 200 meters north of the temple called "Shenxian" Hole". When climbing Mount Dai, you can see Huashan and Langya to the east like islands in the waves of the sea; to the west you can see Chi River and reservoirs like silver necklaces and thousands of acres of natural bamboo forest, with a total forest area of ??more than 30,000 acres. Known as the "Oxygen Bar World", every time you enter the forest, you feel like you are in a green ocean, giving you a refreshing feeling.
