1. Supertree, Gardens by the Bay

3. Singapore Botanic Gardens

The food is really good and affordable (about $5 per meal).

5. Sri Mariaman Church

If you crave sun, sand, sea and enthusiasm, where should you go? Sentosa, obviously. I remembered that when I first visited Singapore nearly 20 years ago, Sentosa was a great place for me as a little girl. The truth is, Sentosa is still an interesting island to me.

This island has all the attractions including Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Bay water theme park, casino, cable cars, zip lines, bungee jumping, beaches, Merlion statues, Sentosa Cove’s super rich crowd and more. There are so many attractions in Sentosa.

Entry to the island is free if you cross the boardwalk. Take the RWS8 bus from VivoCity (bus ticket is US$1), take the Sentosa Express from VivoCity Level 3 (train ticket is US$4), take the cable car from Harbourfront Tower (walk - Tickets are $35, $24.50 online).

7. MacRitchie Reservoir
