Jinxi ancient town is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Located in Jinxi Ancient Town, Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, it is adjacent to Shanghai in the east and Suzhou in the west, 60 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 8 kilometers away from Zhouzhuang, an ancient town.

Jinxi, an ancient town, is named after a colorful stream in the town. It is surrounded by the city, with streets and ancient bridges near the water. Known as "36 Bridges and 72 Kilns".

Jinxi has been a gathering place for literati and poets since ancient times, and Ma Yuan, a famous Western Han Dynasty, was trained here. The tomb of Zhang Zhao, General Wu of the Three Kingdoms, is in Sri Lanka; Gu Kaizhi, a great painter of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, lived in seclusion here; Lu Guimeng, a writer in the Tang Dynasty, lived here for most of his later years.
