Landscape on the road

The Fengjie Xinglong Tourist Loop is a free scenic spot with a total length of 53 kilometers of tourist roads. It starts from the east and west ends of Xinglong Town, forming a closed loop, commonly known as the "tourist loop". There are 400,000 acres of forest park in the scenic area, with three ground-seam viewing platforms, Kaluping Ancient Folk Village, Gaofulutang Hotel and Camping Base, Shili Flower Sea, Maocaoba Ski Resort, Alpine Wetland Park, Shijiaba Reservoir, and Yangwan Camping Base, Beauty Waterfall, Baicao Pond Longfeng Dam, Xinding Holiday Hotel and other landscape groups.

Looking at this introduction, can we not be moved? This Sunday, Guangmei and I made an appointment to take a circular tour by car at 7 o'clock in the morning.

The driver is an enthusiastic lady. She drove us along the winding mountain road toward the Triangle Dam. The first scenic spot we saw along the road was Hankui Gate. We got off the bus at the observation deck, which really looked like Kuimen in the Three Gorges.

After getting on the bus, we continued walking up. I saw a road sign saying: Kaluping Ancient Village. We got off the car and walked down a quaint stone road. Not far away, an ancient house with a black tile roof appeared in front of us.

There is a farmhouse here. Strings of corn are hung under the eaves, and some vegetables are hung on the shelves. Let's make them into dried vegetables! The bells on the two puppies' necks jingled.

I don’t want to miss every corner here. This quaint and primitive village fascinates me. It would be great if we could come here with the Great Wall! He will love this place!

After Hiromi and I walked around every corner, we really wanted to go back to the owners of the house and have close contact with them. This is also one of my wishes when I came to Fengjie, to go into the village, have a meal at the local people's homes, and understand their daily life. We walked into the owner's house, and it was a little dark inside. Grandma was cooking, and the driver was the translator between us. She told us that the food in her pot was sweet potatoes. I said to the driver, we really want to eat it. Is it cooked? Grandma opened the pot and made us three or four pieces of hot steamed sweet potatoes in bowls. The three of us ate one piece each, and Grandma made us another bowl. We each ate two or three pieces of sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are their staple food, and grandma said she doesn’t like rice. We also visited my grandma’s house upstairs. It has two floors on one floor and the floor is made of wood. Guangmei also bought 17.5 kilograms of bacon from her grandmother. Living on a mountain more than 1,000 meters above sea level, my grandma and grandpa were self-sufficient in all their food: they fed the corn to the pigs, and the pigs ate themselves, and they grew sweet potatoes, potatoes, vegetables, and beans for their own consumption. Although grandma is over sixty years old, her skin is very fair and delicate.

The first floor is a place for storing sundries or doing farm work.

We said goodbye to the two old people with some reluctance and went to another scenic spot. But the fog got worse as we walked, and the visibility was less than 20 meters. We couldn't go any further. It was too dangerous. We turned back and walked along to enjoy the scenery. Whenever we came across a sightseeing platform, we would come down to enjoy it.

We saw a beautiful village at the foot of the mountain, so we decided to visit the village below. We arrived at a four-story house, a new building with a green roof and a white building.

Coming out of the enthusiastic sister-in-law’s house, we saw a scenic spot-Savage Cave. Let's drive over and have a look. There were only three of us at the attraction, and there was no one at the ticket office. We opened the door and saw a high observation deck opposite. After reading the description, I found out that the casing of the Long March 4 rocket fell off in Xinglong Town, Fengjie, Chongqing in 2012. It is collected here. There are spiral steps inside. When we climbed to the top, we could look straight at the rolling mountains. We walked down the observation deck and continued down the steps. We walked not far and reached the entrance of the Savage Cave, but it was so dark inside that the two of us did not dare to go in. Return the way you came. Get in the car.

Some sections along the way were filled with heavy fog, while some sections had no fog at all. Through the window glass, we looked at the various mountains outside, the colorful vegetation on the mountains, and the green water of the Daxi River... We did not let our eyes have a moment of leisure.

On the way, each person bought three large grapefruits for seven yuan each. The old farmer said they had just been picked from the tree. We returned to the training center at 3:30. We left our luggage with the guard, and then went with the car to a fish buffet near Binjiang Park. We ate nothing but a few pieces of sweet potatoes that day, and we were a little hungry. We want the hot pot fish to be slightly spicy.
