The Minjiang River Basin has a mild climate, abundant water resources and developed agriculture. Famous scenic spots include Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain.
Hanjiang River, located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, originates from Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi Province, flows through Hubei Province and finally joins the Yangtze River. Hanjiang river basin is flat, fertile and has high agricultural output. Famous scenic spots include Huangxiang Crane Tower in Wuhan and Xiangyang Ancient City.
Xiangjiang River, located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, originated in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, flowed through Changsha City and finally merged into the Yangtze River. Xiangjiang river basin has humid climate, rich water resources and developed forestry and fishery. Famous scenic spots are Yuelu Mountain and Orange Island.
The importance of the Yangtze River:
