Shanxi, referred to as "Jin" for short, is a provincial-level administrative region in People's Republic of China (PRC). Taiyuan, the capital, is located in the north of China, bordering Hebei in the east, Shaanxi in the west, Henan in the south and Inner Mongolia in the north, between 34 34 ′-40 44 ′ north latitude and10 65438 east longitude.
