Shi Jia Courtyard 1
Shi Jia Courtyard is located in Guyi Street, Yangliuqing Town, Tianjin, south of Tianjin. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal flows through the bank of Tianjin South Canal, near Yangliuqing Railway Station. Built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty (1875), it was once the residence of Shi Jia, one of the eight famous houses in Tianjin. The buildings of the whole compound are typical gray-white traditional houses in the north, and there are many exquisite stone carvings, which are called "the first house in North China".
2. Yangliuqing New Year Picture Gallery
Yangliuqing New Year Picture Gallery is located in Yu He Village, Yangliuqing Town, Tianjin, on the west side of Shi Jia Courtyard. This was originally the ancestral hall of An Wenzhong, the founder of Yangliuqing Chongying. The building of Yangliuqing New Year Picture Gallery is quite distinctive, consisting of five quadrangles with 24 rooms. There is a hall in the middle, which divides the whole building into two courtyards, north and south, with the same layout, all of which are quadrangles with five rooms wide, east and west wings, girders and two sloping roofs. , reflecting the simple but elegant style.
3. Yangliuqing Folk Culture Center
Yangliuqing Folk Culture Center is located on the 2nd-5th floor of Tianjin Yangliuqing Ancient Town Tourist Center, which mainly introduces local traditional culture and holiday customs. There are more than 1000 pieces of collections and exhibits in the museum, and you can appreciate the old "elegant demeanor" of the ancient town indoors.
Yangliuqing Folk Culture Museum focuses on the canals, courtyards, New Year pictures, folk customs and beach-rushing culture of the ancient town. 4. Yangliuqing Yu He
Yangliuqing Yu He River, also known as the South Canal, is located in Xiqing District of Tianjin, passing through Yangliuqing Town. It is the Yangliuqing section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which belongs to the Guyongji Canal and is a part of the World Heritage Section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Yangliuqing Town prospered because of the canal, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Yangliuqing is famous for its prosperous water transportation. Qian Fan on both sides of the Royal River races with the sun, and the streets are bustling with merchants.
5. Wenchang Pavilion
Wenchang Pavilion is located on the south bank of the ancient canal in Yangliuqing Town, Xiqing District, Tianjin, on the east side of Yuanbao Island, across the river from Luling Golf Villa, and about15km away from the center of Tianjin. It is a place where ancient Tianjin worships the gods in charge of literary achievements and Tianjin literati gather, and it is also a landmark building and an important cultural tourist destination of Yangliuqing ancient town. Wenchang Pavilion was built in the fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1576), and it was named after the worship of Wenchang Emperor, the god who dominated fame and fortune.
