Zhang Song's main works include: "Introduction to Historic City Preservation", "China's Historic Cities-Landscape Preservation and Street Regeneration", and "The Left Bank of the Seine in the East". Participated in the compilation of "China's National Historical and Cultural Cities", "The Creation of the Beauty of Famous Cities", "Principles of Urban Planning", "National Registered Planner Practicing Examination Guide", etc.

Zhang Song, male, born in December 1961, is from Shashi, Hubei. He received a bachelor's degree in urban planning from Wuhan Institute of Building Materials in July 1983, a master's degree in urban planning and design from Tongji University in March 1992, and a doctorate in engineering from the University of Tokyo in September 1996. Currently, he is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and national registered planner in the Department of Urban Planning of Tongji University.
