Guangrao County Martyrs Cemetery is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Martyrs Cemetery in Guangrao County was founded in 1954. In May 2008, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the county party committee and the county government implemented the relocation project of the Martyrs Cemetery, which was originally located in the urban area. Moved to the current location, the relocation project was completed and accepted in September 2009. The project covers an area of ??180 acres, with a construction area of ??more than 4,000 square meters, and a total investment of 30 million yuan. In order to further enhance the function of the county Martyrs Cemetery as a patriotism education base, in March 2015, our county invested 3 million yuan to renovate and upgrade the exhibitions in the Martyrs Cemetery Memorial Hall, making the social educational significance and benefits more concrete and obvious.

In 1976, Guangrao County Martyrs Cemetery was listed as a county-level key cultural relics protection unit. In 2001, it was listed as a provincial-level key martyrs memorial facility protection unit. In recent years, it has been rated as an advanced unit in the civilized industry in the province's civil affairs system, a national defense education base in the province, a patriotism education base in Dongying City, a demonstration base for the party's mass line education in Dongying City, and a garden-style unit in Dongying City. At the end of 2013, upon the recommendation of the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Guangrao County Martyrs Cemetery Organization applied for a national key protection unit for martyrs’ memorial facilities.

Our county currently has 3,116 documented revolutionary martyrs, and 926 are buried in the county martyrs cemetery, including 258 named martyrs, 668 unknown martyrs, 2 nationally famous martyrs, and 88 provincially famous martyrs. The main memorial facilities in the cemetery are divided into two parts: indoor and outdoor: the indoor mainly displays the history of our county in the early days of the founding of the Party, the period of the first domestic revolutionary war, the period of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the period of the Anti-Japanese War, the War of Liberation and the period of socialist construction. Famous revolutionary figures and important revolutionary events; outdoors there are mainly large stone arches, heroic figure sculptures, large relief walls of revolutionary figures and events, revolutionary martyrs monuments, large memorial squares, large tombs of unknown martyrs and famous martyrs, sculptures of figures from the Battle of Qingshuibo, Memorial facilities such as stone columns. The Battle of Qingshuibo, which took place in our county, was commanded by senior generals such as Xu Shiyou and Yang Guofu of our army. It was the most intense and cruel battle in the history of the Anti-Japanese War in the Qinghe Military Region, and created a model of fighting with less to defeat more during the Anti-Japanese War.

In recent years, the county party committee and county government have attached great importance to the work of commending martyrs, and have continuously strengthened the theme function of "praising martyrs and educating the masses" of martyrs' memorial facilities. The County Martyrs Cemetery receives more than 50,000 visitors every year and plays a good role as an education base for patriotism and revolutionary tradition. During the Qingming Festival and Martyrs’ Memorial Day, we organized and hosted martyrs’ memorial and public memorial activities for the city’s party, government, military and people from all walks of life, which greatly stimulated the patriotism of the whole society.
