The difference between the Cultural and Tourism Commission and the Cultural and Tourism Bureau

Different units have different responsibilities.

1. The units are different. The full name of the Culture and Tourism Bureau is the Culture and Tourism Administration, which is a newly formed government department in the 2018 national institutional reform. The Culture and Tourism Committee is composed of enterprises, institutions, social organizations and units enthusiastic about tourism development in the cultural tourism industry across the country.

2. Different responsibilities. The Culture and Tourism Bureau is responsible for the management and supervision of funds and finances of culture, cultural relics, and tourism institutions. The Culture and Tourism Committee implements the party and the country’s policies, laws and regulations on culture and tourism, sports, radio and television, cultural relics and museums, formulates county-wide policies and measures for culture and tourism, sports, radio and television, cultural relics and museums and organizes their implementation.
