Hebei Tourism Vocational College is located in Chengde University Park, Hebei Province. Hebei Tourism Vocational College is located in Chengde City, Hebei Province, an excellent tourist city in China and a national forest city with beautiful scenery and rich humanities. It is the only comprehensive public full-time vocational college named after tourism in Hebei Province. The school's predecessor was Jehol College of Agriculture and Forestry, which was founded in 1950. After several generations of unremitting efforts and firm pursuit, in 2006, with the approval of the Hebei provincial government, the former Chengde Tourism Vocational College and the former Chengde Vocational College merged to form Hebei Tourism Vocational College.

The school adheres to the construction of quality and characteristics as the core, with distinctive school characteristics. The school now has seven secondary colleges, namely, cultural tourism, hotel management, modern agriculture and landscape architecture, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, modern commerce, art design, information and intelligent engineering, and three teaching departments, namely, ideological and political theory course (Marxist college), general education and physical education.
