Brief introduction of Shatou town

Shatou Town is an area of Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, and it is the jurisdiction of Nanhai, one of the famous "Four Little Tigers in Guangdong".

Shatou originated in the Song Dynasty and belonged to Ding 'an Capital in the early Qing Dynasty, followed by Shatou Fort in Jiujiang Guild Hall and Shatou Township in the Republic of China. 196 1 Shatou Small Commune in Jiujiang District, 196 1 merged into Jiujiang Commune. 1August, 980 from Jiujiang commune. 1983, commune changed to district, 1987, district changed to town.
