Maoshan is not only a Taoist holy land, but also a revolutionary holy land, a provincial-level scenic spot and a provincial-level moral education base. The provincial Maoshan scenic spot is located 26 kilometers southeast of jurong city, Jiangsu, and about 40 kilometers away from Zhenjiang, Changzhou and Nanjing. Shanghai-Nanjing High-speed Railway, Ning Hang National Highway and Changli Highway are all close to Maoshan. Changzhou Airport is 56 kilometers away from Maoshan, and Nanjing Lukou Airport is about 50 kilometers away from Maoshan. The traffic is very convenient. Maoshan Scenic Area was listed as a provincial forest park by the provincial government in 1986, and was approved as a provincial-level scenic spot in 1995. Maoshan is at the junction of Jurong and Jintan counties, and its ancient famous sentence is Qushan. During the Western Han Dynasty, three brothers from Mao Shi, Shaanxi Province, came to this mountain to collect medicine and make an alchemy to save the people and the world. Therefore, later generations changed their names to Sanmaoshan, or Maoshan for short.

Jiang Nanan, at the eastern foot of Jinling, is located in Baohua Mountain, a famous Buddhist holy place, surrounded by mountains and shaped like a lotus flower. The main peak is 437.2 meters above sea level, just like a stamen, towering high in the mountains. Baohua Mountain, formerly known as Huashan Mountain, was named after the yellow flowers in midsummer. Because of the ancient names of "flower" and "Hua" in the Southern Dynasties, Bao Zhi (Jurong), a monk in the Liang Dynasty, climbed a mountain in his later years and set up an altar to give lectures and preach, making this mountain famous all over the world. After Baozhi's death, Huashan was renamed Baohua Mountain to commemorate the founder. The zonal vegetation in Baohua Mountain is well preserved, with vascular plants 124 families, 352 genera and 529 species. Among them, Magnolia grandiflora is a unique tree species, which was a new generation three million years ago. There are wild species such as Phyllostachys pubescens, Phyllostachys pubescens and Phyllostachys pubescens, which are called "Bamboo Sea". There are abundant animal resources here, including jackals, wolves, emus, foxes and more than 20 kinds of mammals.
