What’s fun in Fushun?

Fushun County is located in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin and the lower reaches of the Tuojiang River. It is known as a "thousand-year-old county", "the hometown of Bashu talents" and "the city of Chinese bean curds".

Fushun County’s tourism resources can be summarized as “Five Ones”, namely “one city, one river, one mountain, one ditch, and one town”. One city refers to Fushi Town, the seat of Fushun County. Here you will find scenic spots such as the Fushun Confucian Temple, a national cultural relic protection unit, the Tomb of Liu Guangdi, one of the Six Gentlemen of 1898, and the West Lake, a provincial cultural relic protection unit. Yijiang refers to the Tuojiang River. Its upper reaches include Gexian Mountain, where Ge Hong of the Jin Dynasty practiced elixirs. Its lower reaches include historical sites such as Hutou City, which is as famous as Hechuan Diaoyu City. Along the river are scenic spots such as Shishi Ancient Town and Zhaohua Ancient Town. One mountain, the Qingshanling Mountains, includes a mountain range composed of many large and small peaks from Longguan Mountain, Tianchi Lake to Tianshan Slope. One ditch is the Wutiao ditch in Liqiao Town. It has high mountains and dense forests, beautiful scenery and broad prospects for tourism development. One town, namely Shishi Ancient Town, has well-preserved ancient town features, outstanding architectural features, and profound cultural heritage.
