Located in the northeast of Guangxi, Guilin is a world-famous tourist attraction, a famous scenic city and a famous historical and cultural city in China. Guilin's unique karst landform, different peak forests and Lijiang River with different scenery are integrated into one, forming a gorgeous and unique "Guilin landscape". The graceful Rocky Mountains, majestic caves and clear and pleasant streams attract countless tourists, which also makes Guilin have the reputation of "the best landscape in the world". There are so many scenic spots to see.

Lijiang river rafting
In the case of self-help tour, most people choose to drift to Xingping by bamboo raft in Di Yang, and then take a bus from Xingping to Yangshuo. It takes about 40 minutes from Xingping to Yangshuo. This is much freer and cheaper than taking a boat trip to the Lijiang River.
Drifting price: Di Yang-Xingping, 160 yuan/raft, including all expenses (rafting fee, 20 yuan/person transfer fee, admission fee).
Raft owner:
When traveling in Guilin, it is highly recommended to experience bamboo rafting on the Lijiang River from Di Yang to Xingping. The river is clear and you can have a panoramic view of Guilin landscape on both sides. The price of bamboo rafts is generally 150 yuan/raft, and each raft can take 4 people.
Dock transportation: From Yangshuo, there is a shuttle bus from Yangshuo to Di Yang Pier (note that it is Di Yang Pier, not Di Yang intersection), which leaves at around 6: 40 every day and runs every 20 minutes. It takes about 70 minutes to drive from Yangshuo to Di Yang Wharf, 8 yuan/person. From Guilin, you can only take the slow train from Guilin to Yangshuo at the railway station square (not the bus station) and the intersection from Guilin to Di Yang 10 yuan, but you need to change to the bus from Yangshuo to Di Yang Pier at the intersection. The toll for this section is 3 yuan/person.
By the way: special farmhouse meal, wild Lijiang fish, native chicken, farm bacon, wild vegetables and so on.
Lijiang river hiking
For Xingping, the elite section of Di Yang, many hikers choose hiking. The whole route is similar to bamboo rafting, and it is also along the Lijiang River, with a transition boat in the middle. The whole journey was smooth and not difficult, and there were pastoral scenery everywhere. There is a "Laozhai Mountain" next to Xingping Wharf, which is a good place to watch the sunrise and take photos because of its high position and good view from the top of the mountain. But if you choose to watch the sunrise in Laozhai Mountain, you must arrange accommodation. If you don't live across the river the next day, you won't be able to ferry, climb the mountain and watch the sunrise in time.
