Historical evolution of Huzhou?

Huzhou is an ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of more than 2000 years. In the fifteenth year of the reign of Emperor Gaolie of Chu (248 BC), Huang Xie moved here to build a city in the spring, and later Yucheng County was named after Zeduo. In the second year of Sui Renshou (AD 602), he was ruled by the state, and Huzhou was located on the shore of Taihu Lake. From then on, the name of Huzhou began.

As early as the Neolithic Age in the late primitive society (about 5000-5500 years ago), Huzhou was inhabited by human beings.

Huzhou has a history of more than 2,300 years and is an ancient city in the south of the Yangtze River with a long history.

In 334 BC, Huang Xie, Shen Jun of the State of Chu, moved here and built a city here, named "Cuocheng" (named after Zeduo Chao Cuo).

In 223 BC, Qin changed Yucheng to Wucheng, which was named after Wu Jin and Colin.

In 266 AD (the first year of Sun Haobao's reign in the Three Kingdoms), Wucheng was changed to Xing Wu County.

In 602 AD (the second year of Sui Renshou), it was ruled by the state and named Huzhou. It was named after Taihu Lake, and the name of Huzhou began.

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the government was always called "Huzhou government".

19 12 (the first year of the Republic of China), Huzhou prefecture was abolished, and Wucheng and Gui 'an counties were merged into Xing Wu county.

1April 27, 949, Huzhou was liberated, divided into Huzhou City and Xing Wu County, and 1983 was divided into several times; Huzhou is also the seat of the first district, Jiaxing district and Jiaxing district administrative center in Zhejiang Province after liberation.

1July, 983, the land was withdrawn to build the city, Jiaxing area was abolished, Huzhou and Jiaxing cities were established respectively, and the system of city governing county was implemented. Huzhou, as a prefecture-level provincial city, has jurisdiction over urban areas, suburbs and Deqing, Changxing and Anji counties. 1988 abolished urban areas and suburbs, 1993 established urban areas, Nanxun and Linghu districts.

June, 5438+October, 2003 10, three districts of urban area, Nanxun and Linghu were abolished, and two municipal districts of Wuxing District and Nanxun District were newly established. Huzhou now governs two districts and three counties.
