Jingmen City is located in the hinterland of Hubei Province, in the northern part of the beautiful and rich Jianghan Plain. Known as "the ground connects Jianghan and the door locks Jingchu", since the Shang and Zhou Dynasties (about the 16th century BC), all previous dynasties have set up prefectures and counties here to station troops and accumulate grain, which has become a battleground for military strategists.
