It is said that in the early Ming Dynasty, Guo and Yuan came to this village from Yunnan. Because the village is located near a river ditch, it was named "River ditch" and later renamed "yuanjiacun". According to the Republic of China edition of "Adding and Repairing the Cross-toe Territory", it was called Yuan Dujia in the Qing Dynasty, Yuan Jiazhuang in the Xuan Tong period and yuanjiacun in the Republic of China.
