1, geographical location

Henan Urban Construction College is the only provincial undergraduate college in Henan Province that focuses on engineering and features "urban construction", and it is also one of the only two undergraduate colleges named after "urban construction" in China.

The school is located in the new urban area of Pingdingshan, an excellent tourist city and garden city in China, with Bai Gui Lake in the south and Daxiangshan in the north. Plants are flourishing here, birds are singing and flowers are fragrant, and the study and living environment is pleasant. The school covers an area of 1730 mu, with a total construction area of more than 720,200 square meters and two campuses.

2. Historical evolution

Henan Urban Construction College was formerly known as Pingdingshan Urban Construction Environmental Protection School founded by 1983 and 1985 Wuhan Urban Construction College Henan Branch. After historical periods such as Henan Urban Construction College and Pingdingshan Institute of Technology, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2002 and renamed Henan Urban Construction College in 2008.

The school has outstanding advantages in engineering and distinctive features in urban construction. There are 56 undergraduate majors and 2 higher vocational undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines such as engineering, management, science, literature, law and art.

There are 18 colleges, including Civil and Traffic Engineering College, Management College, Municipal and Environmental Engineering College, Architecture and Urban Planning College, Energy and Building Environment Engineering College, Surveying and Mapping and Urban Spatial Information College, and Art and Design College.

4. Teaching construction
