Also known as "Bijia Mountain", it is a rare ancient glacier and volcanic site in the depths of Bashan Mountain. Here, the forest environment is beautiful, the ancient trees are towering, the wild interest is natural, and it is a combination of male, strange, beautiful and dangerous. There are hundreds of famous scenic spots such as Xianshi, Lotus Pond Springs and Millennium Tiegu Ancient Trees. At the same time, it is also a good place for summer vacation. There are tens of thousands of acres of primitive secondary forests and streams and waterfalls throughout Shan Ye, which adds to the majesty and charm of Nangong Mountain.
Primitive and peculiar natural mountains, forests, valleys, strange stones, streams and springs, and clouds are the main landscape features. The unique geological landscape of the basic lava stone forest and grotesque rocks is distributed in a strip shape near the ridge of Nangong Mountain, with rugged rocks and numerous stone columns, up to 100 meters high. Giant panda, crocodile stone, Bajie stone and astronomical stone are rare in northern China. The area has dense forests, rich forest forms and pleasant climate. There are more than a thousand kinds of plants, among which rare trees are Davidia involucrata, nanmu, Toona sinensis, Magnolia grandiflora and Rhododendron. In the second year of Jingkang in the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 126), a Taoist temple was built on the mountain, which gradually evolved into a Buddhist resort in the Qing Dynasty. On the second day of July in the 25th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1820), the monk Hongyi died in Lianchi, Jinding, and remained immortal for a hundred years, adding a thick mystery to Nangong Mountain.
Jinding, the main peak, is 2267.4 meters above sea level, with two peaks beside it. The three peaks are towering, shaped like a pen, and straight into the clouds. On both sides are stone forests formed by repeated volcanic eruptions 420 million years ago, which are magnificent and ingenious. In the clouds, like a Buddha, like a fairy, like a man, like a beast. Wandering among them is like going to a fairyland on earth. Conch stone can blow loudly and shake the valley; Clear stone, the sound of hitting, pleasing to the ear; Passive square pool, long drought does not dry up, long waterlogging does not overflow; A thousand-year-old oak tree, pretending to be dead, grows trees on it. Snow blooms in high mountains and peach blossoms in low mountains. Four seasons in one mountain, ten miles in different days. Streams and waterfalls, clouds and steam, empty mountains and rain, and countless weather.
Shan Zhinan slope, huge gravel piles, ice buckets, tinder, surrounding valleys, troughs and moraines are the most typical remains of Quaternary glaciers in Daba Mountain.
This unique feature of integrating Paleozoic volcano and Quaternary glacier landforms into one mountain is rare in China, so it has extremely high tourism and scientific research value.
