Mengli Water Village is located in Zhaoxiyuan Forest Farm, Xiantao City. Jianghan Plain, water town gardens, places with water bring their own aura.

In the dream, the water town is surrounded by the lake. The breeze blows on the willow bank, the lotus roots are fragrant in the lotus pond, and the flowers bloom on the central island.

An antique painting boat sails on the lake, and the ripples gradually become distant, revealing a secret place in the water. There are also small trains honking along the path around the lake.

In the dream, the willows in the water town are just embellishments, and the protagonist is the quiet fir forest.

When I first entered the scenic spot, I saw a parking lot separated by willows and stopped my car immediately. The on-site security guard said that there was a larger cedar parking lot inside, so he continued to drive forward. The large cedar forest is the most natural and ecological parking lot. When I picked up the car later, I almost didn't remember the location.

A forest cabin must have fir trees. The cedar forest stands tall, with wooden houses dotted among them. It would be nice to stay here for two days in midsummer, but from the outside, it looks like it's still under renovation. In addition to forest cabins, there are also containers, starry sky tents, water cabins, boat houses, etc.

Traveling to the deepest part of the scenic spot, you will find the water forest of the Phantom of Chishan. Although there are so many tourists, they can't stop the deep tranquility here. The metasequoias are arranged neatly and shadowy, giving it a feeling of a fantasy forest. Walking on the forest water plank road, it is cool and comfortable even in the hot summer.

I heard that there is a children's playground and various play facilities here, but we didn't see it when we went there. In the center of the water forest, there is a water-friendly entertainment pool. The tourists had a great time, and I was eager to try it.

The water quality in the pool is not very good, so I didn’t do the paint roller project because I was afraid of falling in and choking on the dirty water.

On the plank road in the center of the Water Forest, there was a performance by an Internet celebrity in costume. My family ran over to join in the fun and took photos, but we missed it perfectly by shouting at the back.

The tourist facilities in the scenic area are still relatively thin. Friends who have been there said there is nothing interesting. But according to the information I learned online, there are more places to see and play in Mengli Water Town. Maybe we missed it. Because the weather was really too hot, we walked along the tree-lined road and around the lake, but we didn't go to some places.

In any case, in the Jianghan Plain where tourism resources are scarce, it is rare to have a 4A scenic spot close to home. Mengli Water Village is adapted to local conditions, using lakes and metasequoias to create the landscape. The overall landscape is relatively original and does not have too much commercial activity. It’s good to go for a leisurely walk on the weekend.

Mengli Water Village participates in this free ticket event for Hubei Province’s A-level scenic spots. It is free until the end of the year and requires a reservation.

Play time: Half a day is enough, and the water forest is especially suitable for taking pictures. It is recommended to bring your own food and water.

Attraction transportation: The place is not big, you can walk, you can also experience a cruise or take a small train or an ox cart. We walked the whole way and didn't ask about the price. For reference, the online boat price is 50 yuan/person for a round trip, the sightseeing car is 40 yuan/person, and the ox cart is 30 yuan/person.
