Dubai is located in the middle of Arabian Peninsula, south bank of Arabian Gulf, Persian Gulf, southwest of Sharjah and northeast of Abu Dhabi, facing the South Asian subcontinent across the sea and extending inland. As a peripheral enclave of Dubai, Hada is surrounded by Oman.

The coastline of Dubai is 734 kilometers long, and it runs from southwest to northeast, with a length of 30 kilometers and its widest point 10 kilometers. A sea branch about 14 km long divides it into two parts, and the southwest part is called Dila.

In the northeast, the Dila area near the estuary, called Baldubai, is the most prosperous area. From south to north, there are Golmud Bridge, Maxim Bridge and Shandaiying Tunnel, connecting the west.

Rich Dubai

Although many of Dubai's core trade infrastructures are designed to support the oil industry, oil and natural gas account for less than 5% of Dubai's revenue, and the oil output is about 50,000 to 70,000 barrels per day (7900 to1.100 cubic meters).

Most of them come from offshore oil fields, and natural gas accounts for about 2% of the income. Dubai's oil reserves have fallen sharply, and it is estimated that it can only be mined for another 20 years.

Real estate and construction (22.6%), trade (16%), entrepot trade (15%) and financial services (1 1%) are the most important industries in Dubai's economy.

Dubai, and Deraa (when it was independent) across the Dubai River, are important trading ports for western manufacturers. Many new urban financial centers are located in the port area and became important trade centers in the 1960s and 1960s.

Until AD 1990, Dubai still allowed gold to be traded freely. Due to India's restrictions on gold imports, Dubai became a place to smuggle gold to India.
