General situation of tourism in Zhongxing Town

Zhongxing Township is rich in tourism resources, including Mazheng Temple in Ming Dynasty, Hoonji and Lifu Granary built by Li Hongzhang in Qing Dynasty, Zhengbu ancient well, Balian couple tree, Liang Yufang grassland with municipal farm certificate, etc. Ma Zheng Temple was originally the temple of Ma Zheng, the empress of Zhu Yuanzhang. Incense is constantly burning all year round, especially the temple fair on the third day of the third lunar month. Before liberation, there were nine rows of houses in Mazheng Temple, which were destroyed in the war. Now it is built by local people, and the main temple is three stories high. From the East Gate Transfer Center in Feidong County, take the "Hefu-Zhongxing" bus for 40 minutes to reach Mazheng Temple, with a journey of 28 kilometers. According to legend, Mazheng Temple in Zhongxing Town was built in the early Ming Dynasty to commemorate Ma Huanghou, the original wife of Zhu Yuanzhang. Incense flourished in the Qing Dynasty and was destroyed in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's time, but people still came to worship at temple fairs. In 2005, Wang Minglai, the chairman of Anhui Lianhua Industrial Group, invested more than 5 million yuan in restoration and reconstruction, and held a cultural tourism temple fair on March 3 every year, which was unprecedented.

Through extensive publicity, actively strive for policy support, take various forms such as attracting investment, tap the potential of existing tourism resources, vigorously develop farmhouse music and leisure tourism, and promote the development of tourism in Zhongxing Township.
