Liuhe dialect belongs to Northeastern Mandarin. It is a local variant of Northeastern Mandarin, a sub-dialect of Beijing Mandarin dialect. It belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language family - Chinese - Northeastern Mandarin - Jichenpian —Meixi Film. In Northeastern Mandarin, the voiceless consonants of the ancient Ru tone are now divided into Yinping, Yangping, Shangsheng and Qusheng, and there is no obvious pattern. This is similar to Beijing Mandarin. However, in Northeastern Mandarin, many more characters with ancient voiceless tones have been converted to upper tones than those in Beijing. The Xiangyang Xishan Site is located on the hillside southwest of Xiangyang Town, 38 kilometers southwest of Liuhe County. The local people call this mountain Wangba Neck Mountain. It is a typical site among the original cultural sites in the Yitong River Basin. More than 20 iron collars and copper arrowheads were unearthed, all of which were arrows used in crossbows. Among them, two with inscriptions should be made by Zhao State. The site is 100 meters long from east to west and 30 meters wide from north to south. A batch of copper arrowheads unearthed on the cliffs and hillsides of the site are large in number and well-made, all made in the State of Zhao.
