Malaysia Semporna Travel Guide

Malaysia is a country with many island countries and a wide range of Islamic countries, so you must pay attention to your words and deeds when traveling and try to be generous and decent. This is a guidebook to Semporna, Malaysia.

During the ten-day holiday, I went to Semporna, the heart I missed, and stayed in various websites for more than a month. I want to share my itinerary here. If you want to know, you can call me short!

Preparation before travel:

Passport: citizen's home, visa: Taobao, air ticket, accommodation, sunglasses, swimsuit, slippers, hiking sports shoes, sunscreen, sun umbrella, hat, diving suit, diving eyes, flippers, foot covers (except foot covers, which are available in local diving shops and can be bought with Taobao if you feel unhealthy) and underwater camera (you can rent one from Taobao).

About air tickets:

AirAsia is the first choice because it is cheap. You can buy it in AirAsia official website, Ctrip, Qunar and Flying Pig. AirAsia is a low-cost airline, excluding meals and checked baggage (20-inch boxes can be carried on the plane with a weight limit of 7kg). You can choose whether you need it when you buy it. It will be much cheaper to buy a suitcase on Taobao. You can buy it on Taobao the day before the flight.

Wuhan-Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu-Douhu, Douhu-Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur-Wuhan, there are about 1500 flights.

About visa:

Malaysia does not have a visa on arrival, so it needs to be processed in advance. There are two kinds of electronic signs and paper signs. The price and the length of stay are different. You can consult Taobao.

About the hotel:

I spent a lot of time booking, Agoda, where to go, Ctrip, flying pig, the price will change. I can sell it when the price is low.

Semporna:

The point is that the accommodation in Sembina needs to be booked one month in advance, especially the water house. There are few accommodation options in the town, but there are many people in Haifeng. I thought the facilities were old, so I booked the Pacific Hotel (about RMB 700 yuan) and stayed for 3 days. The room was very small two days ago, and I got a slightly bigger one on the last day.

Kota kinabalu:

Pacific Silk Hotel (about RMB 700 yuan) has a good environment, with a small private beach and swimming pool. All the trips are in uber taxi, within 10 RM.

Kuala Lumpur:

The face of online celebrities in hotels is more expensive, which seems to be more than 1000. I think it's a suite in the same building, about 700, and the room type is similar. You can also go to the infinity pool. The room is very big, like a suite. There is an endless swimming pool on the 5 1 floor, and you can see the Kuala Lumpur Tower and the Petronas Towers. Taking pictures is not bad, but I have never experienced it during my period.

About traffic

Kota kinabalu:

Regarding the shuttle bus, Kota Kinabalu International Airport is very close to the urban area. If there is a one-day tour, the travel agency provides shuttle bus service. We take buses and taxis with Uber. If you live in the city center, you can basically walk. When you arrive in the local area, it is recommended to download Uber or Grab and register for a taxi with your local mobile phone number. I use Uber, or I can choose a driver from China, which is super convenient and cheap!

Semporna:

As for the shuttle bus, Semporna is far from the city, about an hour. There is a shuttle bus for booking a one-day tour, please communicate with the travel agency in advance. If you don't have an appointment, there will be many minibuses with carpool signs, each with RM 25. Later, the delivery was also sent by my driver. The town of Xianna is very small, and it's all on foot.

Kuala Lumpur:

Regarding the shuttle bus, we took a taxi with Uber after getting off the plane, which took about 1 hour, about 70 ringgit. Uber used to take a taxi when traveling, but Geelong didn't have the option of driving in China, so he had to touch it. Not all drivers can speak Chinese and it takes a long time to take a taxi. You can try grab. My friend said it would be faster to take a taxi. The plane delivered at 8: 20 p.m. actually said it would pick it up at 4: 30, saying it was early, because I was afraid of the traffic jam at that point. In a word, we didn't meet the traffic jam. But after arriving, I ate a meal and refunded the tax, and the registration time was still a little late. I suggest you go early.

About sun protection:

It is recommended to protect the face from sun. It is recommended to buy 1 10 banana boats locally. Although you will still get a tan, at least you won't get sunburned. Be sure to pay attention to sun protection. The sunburned part will be very painful and very red.

On September 25th, Wuhan flew to Kota Kinabalu.

Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 3: 30 am. On the first floor, the ATM took 500 for standby, and there was a Chinese option to withdraw money. The pick-up station for the one-day tour is a minibus made by several people, which is quite close to the urban area and will arrive soon. Stay at the Pacific Silk Hotel, where there is a private swimming pool and a Little Beach.

September 26th Kota Kinabalu

Go to bed at noon and go to the mall to change money. The shopping center is small and there is nothing to visit. I want to rent a motorcycle, but I can't find it anywhere. Go to eggplant to eat seafood in the afternoon. Buttered tiger shrimp is not bad, just like crab.

After eating, I went to Tanjung Yalu River Beach, where there were still many people. I suggest you take pictures early. The setting sun is short, and it gets dark as soon as it sets. It rained that day, so the photos were not very nice.

On September 26th, Shabi Island and Manugen Island were going to visit Semporna Island, so we didn't go to Mermaid Island, but chose an island with more water sports to complete the tour. Sleep till morning 10, and take a taxi to the dock. Comparing the prices of several windows, I can bargain. Finally, I booked a two-island tour, including motorboats, flying fish and umbrellas. Personal expenses are about RM 500. You can also book a one-day tour online in advance. There are still a few people on the island. Maybe we went late, so we staggered with the tour group. The old black man who took us by motorboat was very dedicated, and drove all the way to dub, and even turned it over twice. When he fell into the sea for the first time, he startled me and shouted for help. He was embarrassed when he floated silently. Okay, I'm stupid. Teach me to drive, all kinds of tricks, to the endless sea. Don't feel too good, no goal, no home.

Return to the dock around 4: 30 and take a taxi to eat Xinji Baku ku tea. The taste is very weak, and I say I can't get used to it. After dinner, I went for a walk on Tanjung Ya Road Beach. There is a market in the back. There was a lot of food, and I had a seafood meal. There are delicious roast chicken wings. In a small corner, the public comment has a recommendation!

On September 27th, a one-day tour of mosque-proboscis monkey-firefly was reported online. Pick us up at the hotel at noon 1. I just want to say that this trip is really boring. Firefly is worth watching, but it's a long way, and I really don't think it's necessary to go.

On the way, I met a friend who went to Shenshan for a day trip and could play paragliding. It feels good, but I have no time to go. Take pictures of them playing.

It's almost 8 o'clock in the evening when I get back to the hotel. I rested for an hour and was going to the bar. I took a taxi to Bar Street, where there were bars and bars, and I found many homes to sit.

On September 28th, Kota Kinabalu called Uber to the airport. All taxis in Kota Kinabalu are cheap and convenient for Uber, so you can choose China drivers. Arrive at Douhu Airport at three o'clock in the afternoon. When leaving the airport, many people hold up signs to carpool for RM 25. It's quite far from the airport, about an hour. When I arrived at the hotel, I put down my luggage and went out to find food. I want to eat KFC. Ask a teenager if you can't find a place. Two children took us there. When I arrived, I asked us for money, but I didn't pay RM3. I almost snatched it from my wallet, but I stopped. Seine is a small town. Everyone must pay attention to safety when they go. Don't wander around at night.

Semporna is too small to visit. I went to the supermarket to buy something. I went to buy seafood. There are many people selling seafood at the entrance of the diving spot. The later the time, the cheaper it is. Remember to bargain. It's much cheaper to buy it back and take it to the food stall for processing than to buy it yourself at the food stall. Seascape, all the guests in the world have eaten it, and the taste is similar. There is no mustard over there. Want to eat lobster sashimi, remember to bring it!
